Chris Spicks has been a photographer for 29 years, but that title undersells it. He's a visual creative who happens to use a camera. When he's not shooting, he's creating art pieces, designing clothing, or reimagining spaces — because for Chris, the question has always been the same: what do I want someone to feel when they look at this?
That instinct built ChrisSpicksPhotography into one of Houston's most versatile studios. His client list runs from Simone Biles to the family down the street, from Houston Astros wives to first-time maternity moms who just want to feel beautiful. The work ranges from dramatic underwater portraits to clean corporate headshots — and he approaches both with equal seriousness.

When Chris isn't behind a camera, he's probably playing with fire (Flock of Fire), building something in his studio, lasers, video mapping, LED's, Sound Reactive Creations, or chasing the next sensory experience. He has always been fascinated with light and the ability to create a mood. He's the kind of person who sees the finished image when we are brainstorming, long before the shutter fires but also enjoys chasing that new idea he just had— and that's exactly the kind of photographer you want on your shoot.
